LIAISON Stem Cell Banking constitutes a model cord blood bank, specializing in the field of collection, treatment, isolation and cryopreservation of umbilical cord blood stem cells. LIAISON was founded in 2005, as a spin off company of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki(AUTH), from academic members of the AUTH medical school. The company’s main office is based in the Technological Park of Thessaloniki of the National Centre of Research and Technological Development in Thermi, while the state of the art laboratories and cryopreservation units in the newly created Business Incubator THERMI I, part of what is known as, Thessaloniki’s innovation zone.
